A mi gusto si amigo, siempre que lo instales desinstala todos los codecs sueltos que tengas, e instalas la versión Full que es la que pongo el enlace,

en el proceso de instalación déjalo todo por defecto y ya tendrás tu pc listo para codificar y ver cualquier peli
